1. Introduction

Welcome to Watheq. By accessing or using our mobile application ("App") and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Watheq is a debt recording and management tool designed to help friends and family document personal loans.

2. Nature of Service

Watheq is NOT a financial institution, bank, or payment processor. We do not facilitate the actual transfer of funds, process payments, or enforce debt collection. Our service is strictly limited to providing a digital ledger for record-keeping purposes only.

3. Limitation of Liability

Watheq and its developers are not responsible for any financial losses, disputes, or unpaid debts between users. The contracts created within the App are digital records of mutual agreement. The enforceability of these records depends on your local jurisdiction.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
  • You agree not to use the App for any illegal lending practices, usury (interest), or money laundering activities.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

We collect information to provide and improve our service. This includes:

  • Identity Data: Name, email address, phone number.
  • Contact List: We request access to your contacts solely to allow you to easily select witnesses or counterparties. We do not store your entire contact list on our servers.
  • Transaction Data: Details of the debts you record (amounts, dates, descriptions).
  • Device Data: IP address, device model, and OS version for security and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your digital debt records.
  • Generate PDF contracts for your personal use.
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
  • Improve app performance and fix bugs.

3. Account Deletion & Data Retention

You have the right to request the deletion of your account at any time via the "Delete Account" option in the Settings menu.

  • Deletion Process: Upon request, your account will be deactivated immediately. Data is permanently deleted after 30 days.
  • Retained Data: Contracts with other active users may be retained to maintain the integrity of their records.
